Encyclopaedia of Labels and Labelling

This first ever encyclopaedia for the label industry supplier, converter and end-user is currently being compiled by acknowledged label industry guru Mike Fairley, founder and publisher of Labels & Labelling International magazine for some 20 years and now an international consultant and industry speaker.

As a contributor to three previous encyclopaedias -including the 'Encyclopaedia of Packaging Technology' and the 'Encyclopaedia of Occupational Health & Safety' - Fairley is well qualified to research and write this major work of reference on everything to do with labels and label usage.

Not only incorporating all the traditional label industry terms the 'Encyclopaedia of Labels & Labelling Technology' will also include explanations and terms relating to coding, variable printing, digital design, artwork and printing, UV-curing, source tagging, intelligent and security labels, as well as computer and internet technology -and much more.

Due for finalisation in the second half of 2003, the Encyclopaedia of Labels & Labelling Technology will be well illustrated throughout. It is expected to rapidly become the global reference source for everything to do with labels.

To keep the final cost of the Encyclopaedia at a level affordable by companies and students alike, the publishers are now seeking label industry companies that would like to sponsor a product picture on the front cover and/or contribute to the production costs through pre-ordering bulk copies at a substantial pre-publication price. All sponsors will be acknowledged in the publication.
